Dominic Frisina is the proud Dean of the Citizenship & Science Academy of Syracuse Elementary School. Mr. Frisina has been with SANY for eight years and was previously a teacher and peer observer. Before coming to SANY, Mr. Frisina was a New York City Department of Education teacher in Manhattan, as well as a soccer and basketball coach.
Mr. Frisina earned a Master of Science in Teaching Childhood Education (1-6) at SUNY Potsdam, A Certificate of Advanced Study School Building Leadership at Canisius College, and NYS School Building Leader Certification. He earned the Terra Science Teacher of the Year award in 2016 and the Anointed Vision Ministry Community Service Award in 2019.
