Liska Savage is the proud Dean of Utica Academy of Science Elementary School. Ms. Savage earned a Bachelor's in History from Binghamton University in 2007 and a Master's in Teaching from Utica University in 2010. Before coming to SANY, she taught social studies at Whitesboro High School and at Herkimer BOCES Pathways Academy. She was also a long term substitute at Waterville Central School, Madison Central School, and New Hartford High School.

Outside of school, Ms. Savage enjoys performing in community theater, hiking, crossfit, spending time with her two pugs, and traveling with family and friends. She loves the color red and her favorite number is 25. Her favorite quote is “Do the best you can until you know better. Then when you know better, do better” by Maya Angelou.
