SANY Students Win Aquarium Naming Contest

Tuesday, April 14th, 2026: Big news from the Science Academies of New York! We welcomed County Executive Ryan McMahon for a special visit to Syracuse Academy of Science Elementary School and an even more exciting announcement.

Two of our #SASAtoms, Cailin and Riley, were named winners of a county-wide contest to help name the new Onondaga County Aquarium!

Join us as we celebrate this incredible achievement and recognize our students for their creativity and hard work.
