Thursday, August 13th, 2026: We're proud to recognize two Syracuse Academy of Science students for serving as panelists at this year’s Collaborative Educators Summit.
The annual summit brings together educators, administrators, business and industry leaders, nonprofit organizations, and students from across Central New York to build meaningful connections, exchange ideas, and explore ways to strengthen education and the community.
This year’s theme, “Applied Curiosity / Adapting Together,” highlighted the importance of collaboration, curiosity, and learning from different perspectives in a rapidly changing world.
As panelists, our SAS students had the opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives, and ideas with an audience of education and community leaders. Their participation provided an important student perspective and demonstrated the value of giving young people a voice in conversations that directly impact their education and future.
We are incredibly proud of our SAS students for representing SANY with confidence, curiosity, and leadership. Their participation in events like the Collaborative Educators Summit reflects SANY’s commitment to preparing students not only for college and careers, but also to be engaged, thoughtful leaders in their communities.
Congratulations to our student panelists! We are proud to see you sharing your voices and representing SAS and SANY!
